Leading the path to fault-tolerant quantum computing

We’re building the hardware, software, and developer platform to turn quantum computing’s potential into practical impact, advancing toward universal, fully fault-tolerant quantum computing planned for 2029.

Our roadmaps show how we plan to advance these capabilities together, giving customers a path to start building applications today and scale into the fault-tolerant era.

Hardware built for the next era of computing

Useful quantum computing starts with accurate results customers can trust. Our hardware roadmap combines highly accurate trapped-ion systems with error correction intended to scale increasingly powerful computations, from Helios today to Sol planned for 2027 and Apollo, our universal, fully fault-tolerant quantum computer, planned for 2029.

Hardware roadmap

Our hardware roadmap charts the planned evolution of Quantinuum systems toward greater scale and accuracy—from today’s Helios to Sol, planned for 2027, and Apollo, our universal, fully fault-tolerant quantum computer planned for 2029.

Quantinuum Nexus platform roadmap

With Nexus, customers are empowered to create hybrid quantum-classical applications on one platform. Our platform as a service brings application development, optimization, and deployment into one environment, connecting quantum computing with classical computing, AI, and high-performance computing.

‍
Aligned with each hardware generation from Helios through Apollo, the Nexus roadmap progressively simplifies error correction and hybrid workflows, so the applications and expertise customers build today can scale to fault tolerance and beyond.
